Floods in Odisha kill 45, Leave 300,000 Villagers Marooned

Bhubaneswar (Thomson Reuters Foundation) - Floods activated by days of substantial rain in Odisha have killed 45 individuals and left more than 300,000 individuals cut off from essential administrations, government authorities said on Monday.

More than 300 towns in the state have been left encompassed by surge water, after real streams, for example, the Mahanadi, blast their banks submerging expansive swathes of farmland, drenching streets and clearing without end spans.
